A Wauseon man dies following a crash in Paulding County. Officials tell reporters a semi, driven by Timothy Weber of Dayton became stuck in low hanging telephone lines, damaged in an earlier traffic crash on U.S. 127. Vance Campbell, 54, of Wauseon saw the stuck vehicle and began to assist with the removal of the lines. That’s when a big rig, driven by John Reber, of Wauseon hits the wires. Campbell, who was standing on Weber’s trailer, was struck by the telephone lines and sustained fatal injuries. The investigation continues by both state and local officials.
