Joshua Amos…the Montpelier man…who pled guilty in the drug-related death of another Montpelier man…gets six months at CCNO…with 120 days suspended, pending he meet the conditions of his probation. He is also ordered to pay a total of $3,500 in fines. A grand jury indictment, filed in 2018…concluded he sold heroin and fentanyl that caused the death of a 26-year-old. Amos moved out of Williams County before he could be apprehended. In July 2020, he was arrested in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. Then in late August, Williams County sheriff’s deputies transported him back to Ohio. Drug trafficking charges were dropped as part of the plea agreement.
