Emergency Over

Ohio is no longer in a state of emergency…COVID-19. So far, nearly 5.5 million people in the state have gotten at least the first dose of the vaccine…roughly 47% of the population. In Williams County, the number is 13,291, or 36 %. According to state data, the county estimated 38 cases per 100,000 people over the last two weeks. This ranks the county at number seven among Ohio’s 88 counties and is higher than the state rate of 26 cases. The governor also lifts regulations on visits to Ohio nursing homes. Nursing homes are still expected to follow federal guidelines.
