Williams County’s COVID-19 vaccination rate of 34% is about half the target of 70, set by the county health commissioner. It’s also less than the statewide 45% rate, and leaves the county at increased risk of new variant strains of the virus…that’s according to area health officials. It’s those variants everyone is talking about that worries the experts.
