Motorcycle v Van In Swanton

A Sylvania motorcyclist is hurt, following a crash in Swanton, on Airport Highway at Waterville Swanton Road. Officials tell reporters, Matthew O’Connell, rides eastbound on Airport…while a minivan, driven by Mary Kihslinger, 79, of Toledo, is going west. They say, Kihslinger took a left, onto Waterville-Swanton…that’s when O’Connell hit her car…sending the rider flying off the bike. He doesn’t have a helmet. O’Connell is flown to a Toledo hospital…in serious condition. Investigators don’t think drugs or alcohol are involved. The road was closed for about two hours. No charges have been filed. The investigation continues.
