Deadly Crash In DKC

In DeKalb County…a crash kills a teenage boy, near Waterloo. Officials tell reporters…17-year-old, Alexander Barnhart, of Ashley, veers off the east side of County Road 35. The vehicle then goes over a raised gravel area. That’s when it rolls sideways, several times…smashing into a tree. Reports from other motorists come in…reporting the crash…with the boy’s body, next to the wrecked car. First responders try, but they can’t revive him. They say he was speeding…and not wearing a seatbelt. The investigation continues.
