A pedestrian dies in an incident involving a passenger train Sunday morning just outside of Bryan. Amtrak says Train 29, which travels daily between Chicago and Washington, D.C., made contact with a pedestrian, who was trespassing on Norfolk and Southern Railway property, just east of Bryan, as the train was traveling west. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released as the incident remains under investigation. Officials add…the train was delayed about three hours while authorities and Amtrak personnel investigated and cleared the scene. No passengers or crew members aboard the train were injured.
