A car chase in Fulton County earlier this month ends in the arrest of a Toledo man. Swanton Police gets word on a stolen vehicle…entering the village. While patrolling, an officer spots the car and tries to pull it over. Anthony Papa, 27…doesn’t comply…and the pursuit is on. As the chase heads further into Fulton County…Papa tries to lose his pursuers by turning off…he misses the turn…and ends up in a field. In seconds…the car is piled up in a ditch. Papa tries to get out and run…but he is soon picked up by officers. After a check up at the hospital…he is then booked into the Lucas County lockup…on a list of warrants, in Toledo. Reckless driving and a list of other moving violations are now added to the list of complaints, against Papa. The case continues. More charges could apply in the case, officials add.
