Jondreau Is Sentenced

In a Williams County courtroom…Cody Jondreau will serve a minimum 29 years in prison for the murder of his infant son Alexander, who died as the result of abuse on Sept. 11, 2020. We reported Jondreau, 26, fled from the state before his son’s death…and then escaped from a Florida jail after his initial arrest on May 11. He entered the courtroom…in shackles…on Monday morning to find every local police chief lining the back row. Jondreau pled guilty to first-degree felony murder and two counts of second-degree felony child endangerment on Nov. 9…after the sheriff’s office used a private plane and local pilot to extradite him back to Ohio. He admitted to a family member…he struck the child.
