A Mark Center man dies in a snowmobile crash in Defiance County. Deputies responded to a reported injury accident in a field near the intersection of Fountain Street and Farmer Mark Road. Officials tell reporters…Charles Shidler was on the snowmobile in a field near his home when he crashed into a deep ditch, suffering an apparent head injury. Shidler was taken to Community Memorial Hospital in Hicksville, where he was later pronounced dead by the Defiance County coroner. The investigation into the fatal accident continues by both state and local officials.
