Fire Handled By Committee

Crews respond to a house fire on Defiance-Henry County Line Road, two miles southwest of Ridgeville Corners. Jewell and Napoleon firefighters assisted in the operation. When the fire team arrives…heavy flames are coming out of the building. The crew moves in and checks for anyone inside…as the hose team applies water. The second story blaze is gaining momentum…a second alarm is called out. Firefighters from Malinta-Monroe Township come to help. No word on the extent of the damage…or if there were any injuries, at this hour.
