Man Found Dead

A missing Holgate man is found dead in Napoleon. Officials tell reporters…Cory Karcher, 36, left Holgate around 5:30 p.m. Friday to visit a friend in Toledo. The sheriff’s office was contacted Saturday morning at 11 a.m. by a family member…Karcher had not returned home. A be-on-the-lookout alert was issued for Karcher to area police…and, when he was not heard from by Sunday morning, he became listed as a missing person. Then…several hours later…Karcher was found in his vehicle at Love’s Truck Stop in Napoleon. Officials add…the death is not suspicious. The cause is under investigation. State and local detectives are on the case, at this hour.
