Some Finances At CCNO

The CCNO board agrees to split $1.4 million dollars in leftover funds from its 2021 operating budget…and deposit $720 thousand, each, into its capital and reserve funds. The figure is attributed to higher fees to the regional jail for federal inmates from the U.S. Marshal’s Office housed at CCNO, in 2021…and from lower than usual wages and benefits costs last year, due to staff shortages. The deposits bring the balances in the capital fund to about $3.5 million, and the reserve fund to around $2.7 million dollars.
