The Ohio State Highway Patrol has the third suspect in custody…after a Bluffton Police officer was killed. It all started in the early morning hours on Thursday…officers spot a dark-colored sedan, traveling at a high rate of speed on state Route 23 northbound. They couldn’t catch up to the suspects. Then…as the chase goes through Hancock County…on state Route 15 and then onto Interstate 75 southbound…near exit 142…Officer, Dominic Francis was laying down stop sticks…he’s hit by the speeding suspects. Francis later dies. After that…the three suspects try to run away on foot…soon to be picked up by the police…all except for one…who steals another car and tries to run. The police catch up to that suspect…and bring that person in, as well. The investigation continues.
