Kaptur In Town

Marcy Kaptur, the Democrat representing Ohio’s 9th Congressional District, visited Spangler Candy Company and spoke with company leaders regarding issues impacting the candy manufacturing industry. After redistricting, Williams County moves from Bob Latta’s 5th District…to Kaptur’s. During her visit, she toured the factory where more than 15 million pieces of candy are produced every day. She spoke with Spangler officials about issues including healthcare, workforce development and the United States sugar program. Spangler Candy Company has been operating in Bryan for 116 years and is in its fourth generation of leadership by the Spangler family.
