Deadly Crash Under Investigation

An area boy dies in a crash in York Township. At this hour…officials are investigating the two-vehicle crash on County Road 10 at County Road E we reported on the other day. They say an SUV…southbound on County Road 10 driven by Baylor Barnum, of Louisville, Kentucky…collided with a Jeep that was eastbound on County Road E…driven by Jasmine Torbet, of Wauseon. Investigators say…Barnum failed to yield the right of way, and struck Torbet. Barnum’s vehicle overturned. Torbet’s passenger, Karson Torbet, 7, has died from his injuries. Torbet was a second grade student at Wauseon Primary School. The investigation continues.
