The Williams County commissioners give their approval for a .29 mill health department levy to be put on the November ballot. Officials say…it would be for 10 years and, if needed, would help fund the consolidation of the health district offices from a building in Montpelier and one in Bryan to just one building, near Bryan…generating $255,448 a year, which would cost an owner of a $100,000 home about $10.17, annually. The district is seeking other funding sources, and if those come through, it may not need to collect on the levy.
