Edon woman pleads not guilty to multiple charges.

An Edon woman appears in Williams County courtroom and pleads not guilty on multiple charges. Nicole Schmig, 23 was indicted by a grand jury on charges of felonious assault, a felony of the first degree, two counts of failure to comply with order of a police officer, operating a vehicle under the influence and improperly handling firearm. Officials tell reporters that back on Dec. 6, Schmig tried to cause harm to another using a deadly weapon while trying to run from the cops. Bond is set at $50,000 dollars, and a final pretrial conference is now scheduled for Jan. 18. Should Schmig post bond, the judge says she must reside at a particular address in Michigan and not relocate without prior permission from the court.
