Woman Accidentally Shot

A woman was accidently shot in the head Sunday evening at her home.

42 year-old Becky Smith of McClure was taken by LifeFlight to Toledo Hospital where she was last listed in critical condition.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office reports that Smith and her husband were in their barn trying to find a squirrel that had been damaging the building just before 7 Sunday night. Noah Smith had a .22 caliber rifle and as he turned in a doorway, the bold of the gun hit the door frame and the rifle fired, sending a bullet into Becky’s head.
