A new bunny barn is in the works at the Paulding County Fairgrounds, to be finished just in time for fair days. “We’ve outgrown the old rabbit barn,” said Dan Howell, fair board president. “The barn was very aged, and when we had the heat wave last year, it made it clear to us the old barn wasn’t suited for that. This new barn will have better ventilation, better lighting, and will be a lot better barn.” Construction on the project began last week and is expected to be complete by May 1, said Howell.
