Clean Up Your Parks Day Saturday in Defiance.

Roll up your sleeves another Clean Up Your Parks Day is planned Saturday in Defiance. This year’s annual event – considered by the city a kickoff to the parks season – is scheduled from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at any of Defiance’s public parks. Volunteers can show up with gloves and equipment at such parks as Bronson, Diehl, Kingsbury, Lattys Grove (Veterans Memorial), Pontiac, Holgate Avenue, Eastside and Memory as well as Riverside Cemetery, the fortgrounds at the confluence of the Maumee and Auglaize rivers, and the reservoir site on Canal Road/Precision Way.
