Lucas Co. residents get free admission to county fair for two days.

Lucas County residents will get free admission for two days of the county fair this summer, per a grant agreement of $75,000 with the fair board approved by the county commissioners on Monday. The Lucas County Fair runs from July 7-13, with the free admission offered on July 10 and 12, a Thursday and Saturday. The grant also includes vouchers for a milkshake or a hamburger and a drink from the 4-H Cafe. The commissioners are also collaborating with the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority to facilitate transportation to and from the fair.
