Sale of former Community Memorial Hospital property scheduled to close in July.

The sale of the former Community Memorial Hospital property is currently scheduled to close on July 22nd.  On Friday, $280,000 in earnest money and a $70,000 non-refundable extension fee were paid. The initial purchase and sales agreement, which was signed in January, has five amendments.  After Crexi (CXTTechnology, LLC) held an online auction for the former hospital building and the surrounding 20.56 acres on January 20-22, Columbus Hicksville Healthcare, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, placed the winning offer of $1.8 million.
