Williams County commissioners approve 2026 budget.

Williams County commissioners approved county government’s 2026 budget during a recent meeting. Next year’s total is $74,130,906, and includes a $19,165,083 general fund. The largest non-general fund expenditures are: auto and gasoline fund, which utilizes local fees and state gas taxes to fund the county’s highway operations, Board of Developmental Disabilities, Job and Family Services, Hillside Country Living, which funds the county’s nursing facility, EMS fund, Department of Aging fund (senior services), the Alvordton sewer project, and the health department.
