After reportedly leading Toledo officers in a high-speed pursuit with four children before colliding, a Toledo man was taken into custody on Friday. After Kyle Reed, 20, of Toledo, ran a red light on Friday night, police tried to pull him over near 2501 Lagrange Street. Reed allegedly ran many traffic signals as he drove off. According to court documents, Reed had four children in the car: two 15-year-olds, a 5-year-old, and a 2-year-old. Reed wrecked after losing control of the car. After the collision, he tried to escape on foot but was caught by TPD.
