Deer Collisions Spiking in Area

Local law enforce­ment reminds dri­vers that this is the sea­son deer are in rut and mov­ing around, and it is prime time for car and deer col­li­sions. Fri­day in Williams County in Madi­son Town­ship at car hit a deer on US 20A and the car suf­fered mod­er­ate dam­age. And Sat­ur­day on US 24 in Henry County’s Wash­ing­ton Town­ship a car hit a deer caus­ing heavy dam­age to the car. They say dusk and dawn are the times most car ver­sus deer col­li­sions happen.
