It May Be Winter, But We’re All Set For Next Summer’s Fireworks

It’s offi­cial… the Fourth of July fire­works cel­e­bra­tion in Bryan next year, will once again be held at Recre­ation Park, after hav­ing been moved from the pre­vi­ous loca­tion near Bryan Mid­dle School.

Last sum­mer, the dis­play was launched from Recre­ation Park, and it was a suc­cess accord­ing to the Byan Times.

In fact, for many years, the fire­works cel­e­bra­tion was always held at Recre­ation Park… that is until safety con­cerns about debris falling onto nearby homes and prop­erty were raised. In order to address those con­cerns, smaller fire­works were used. Accord­ing to the fire depart­ment, there were no issues last year, so the deci­sion was made to hold the event back at the Park again in 2015.
