Defiance Man Killed In Crash

A Defi­ance man died in a crash near Ann Arbor, Mich., Fri­day morn­ing.

Police say 45 year old Michael Ankney was either walk­ing with a bike or rid­ing a bicy­cle along the road, when he was hit by an as of yet uniden­ti­fied dri­ver.

Ankney was taken by ambu­lance to a hos­pi­tal there, where he was pro­nounced dead. The dri­ver, whose name is still not being released, was treated for minor injuries and released at the same hos­pi­tal.

That deadly crash is still under inves­ti­ga­tion today.
