Department Of Aging Closer To New Vehicles — Now Headed To Ballot

With a tight budget and an aging fleet of more than two-dozen vehicles, The Williams County Department of Aging now says it will seek a levy in November. The department has some 25 vehicles in its fleet, including at least a half-dozen that will need to be replaced soon due to high mileage and high maintenance costs. The Bryan Times reports that the Williams County Commissioners have unanimously approved a request by the County Department of Aging to place a new, five-year, half-mill mill levy on the November ballot to address the issue.
