Henry County will receive more than $5500 to help supplement local emergency food and shelter programs. The decision was made by a national board chaired by the Federal Emergency Management Agency with input from the American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, and The United Way. The amount of the money was determined based on the number of unemployed and people living below the poverty line in the county.
