Defiance Man Charged For Sexual Abuse Of A Minor

A Defi­ance man is sched­uled to be arraigned Mon­day in Williams County Court on charges that he sex­u­ally abused a minor. 42 year old Bobby Strat­ton was indicted ear­lier this month by a Williams County grand jury on one count of sex­ual bat­tery and two counts of unlaw­ful sex­ual con­duct with a minor. All the charges filed against Strat­ton are felonies. The vic­tim, at the time of the alleged crimes, was under the age of 16, accord­ing to pros­e­cu­tors. Strat­ton is being held at CCNO. He faces as much as 15 years in prison if found guilty on all counts.
