Williams County Sheriff Steve Towns announced yesterday that the Ohio Department of Public Safety has awarded just under $34,000 in federal traffic safety funding to his office for 2016. Based on crash data, there have been 7 fatal crashes in Williams County in 2015 and to help reduce those numbers, the Sheriff’s Office will be conducting high visibility enforcement.
