Dewine makes peace officer training more uniform

Ohio Attorney General Mike Dewine announced new requirements for all applicants to Ohio peace officer basic training academies. Northwest State Community College in Archbold is one of many in Ohio. Dewine said the new rules provide uniformity, including all must pass a drug screen before admission, a psychological exam, a polygraph and physical fitness assessment.
