Williams County has a new State Wildlife Officer. If you get a chance, say hello to Austin Dickinson. He’s from Ottawa County and is a Bowling Green grad. Since his graduation at the state wildlife officer academy four years ago, Dickinson has been assigned to the Seneca County office. The job entails statewide jurisdiction to enforce wildlife regulations, investigate allegations of waterway pollution, protect state property and make arrests. He will also conduct educational programs, perform fish and wildlife management duties and advise landowners about dealing with wildlife.
