A new jury trial date is now scheduled for a Bryan man, charged with several counts, including attempted murder, kidnapping and rape. A pre-trial conference was held Monday in Williams County Common Pleas Court for Sammy Celestine II. The trial originally was scheduled to start Monday but a motion for new counsel was previously approved. The new three-day trial date is currently scheduled to begin Feb. 5 at 8:30 a.m. A motion hearing has also been scheduled for Nov. 16 at 11 a.m. The charges stem from an incident in November.
