Angola Teen Hurt In Crash

An Angola teen escaped with only minor injuries Sat­ur­day morn­ing when his pickup truck rolled over in Branch County. 17-year-old Alex Beek­man was dri­ving on Flint Road just before 11 Sat­ur­day morn­ing, when his pickup went out of con­trol, ran off the road and rolled over into a ditch. Deputies say speed was a fac­tor in the acci­dent which remains under inves­ti­ga­tion.
Beek­man was taken to Cameron Hos­pi­tal in Angola. No word today on his con­di­tion, or if any charges are being filed.
