Archbold-based Farmers and Merchants Bancorp has taken a first step into a much larger world. Late last week, the holding company for The Farmers & Merchants Inc., received approval from NASDAQ Stock Market LLC to become a commonly listed entity under the symbol FMAO effective with the opening of the market today. F&M Leaders were excited about the news upon its announcement. Paul S. Siebenmorgen, President and Chief Executive Officer stated the listing of F & M’s common stock on NASDAQ represents another significant milestone in the 120-year history of The Farmers & Merchants State Bank.
