Bryan man arrested for theft

Bryan Police say they arrested an 18-year-old man on theft charges on Sat­ur­day. Ryan Coker was picked up Sat­ur­day night just after 11 p.m. for two counts of theft. He was booked and then released on his own recognizance.

It’s finally here. The annual Defi­ance hol­i­day orna­ment is being sold at the Down­town Defi­ance Vis­i­tors Bureau, Deluxe Clean­ers and at Stam­baugh Jew­el­ers. The orna­ment fea­tures Defi­ance High School and only 500 are avail­able. They are $10 each, and the moneh goes to pay for the city’s hol­i­day dec­o­rat­ing committee.

To honor fallen vet­er­ans, a wreath-laying cer­e­mony is planned for this Sat­ur­day in Defi­ance at River­side Ceme­tery in the vet’s sec­tion.
