BMU Supports Tree Efforts

Bryan Munic­i­pal Util­i­ties is all for the Parks and Recre­ation Department’s street tree replace­ment efforts.

BMU Direc­tor Brian Car­lin told the Bryan Times, that for a num­ber of years the util­i­ties office has funded the replace­ment of any trees which have been cut down due to power line con­cerns. Work­ers replace the trees with new ones that will not be a prob­lem.

On Wednes­day, the Bryan Board of Pub­lic Affairs approved a Parks and Recre­ation Depart­ment request for $2,000 to replace the trees.
