Bryan Cable May Lose Channels

The Bryan Board of Public Affairs says it is not inclined to raise cable TV rates for customers as much as it would have to to continue carrying Fort Wayne’s NBC amd CBS affiliates and so may drop those channels. Passing on the proposed increases for those channels would boost rates 4 dollars a month, and as it is the rates are going up for other stations, too, though not as much. So the Fort Wayne stations would go away as of the end of the year and viewers would get NBC and CBS on the Toledo affiliates. The encourage cable customers to offer their opinions on whether they’d pay the extra.
