Bryan paused to commemorate the fallen soldiers at Memorial Day festivities yesterday. A parade started the day off from the Goodwill parking lot. Military members placed wreaths at Fountain Grove for the fallen and a 30-gun salute was followed by taps. Bryan Mayor Doug Johnson spoke at the event and thanked the American military, which has stood tall to protect the country and gave their lives to defend liberty.
