Burkley named vice chair of statehouse ag committee

The state­house speaker has named Tony Burkley vice chair of the House Agri­cul­ture & Rural Devel­op­ment Committee.

Burkley says he feels hon­ored, and that he looks for­ward to find­ing ways to help agri­cul­ture remains the state’s top industry.

He has started his sec­ond term in the House.
