Case between Pioneer, AquaBounty and Commissioners continues.

The appellate case between the Village of Pioneer, AquaBounty Technologies and the Williams County commissioners had its oral arguments. Judge, Reeve Kelsey presided in place of Judge J.T. Stelzer. Kelsey did not make a decision at the conclusion of the hearing. He will use the arguments along with previously-filed written briefs to rule on the appeal. The case involves an appeal of the commissioners’ decision to deny Pioneer and AquaBounty’s third application to use county right-of-way, along County Road S. Pioneer applied for permission to install two waterlines, one for transferring raw water into the village and one for transferring treated wastewater out of the village, along a one-mile stretch of the right-of-way.
