ARCHBOLD TO REPLACE OFFICER

The Arch­bold vil­lage coun­cil on Mon­day accepted the res­ig­na­tion of one vil­lage worker and began a search for his replace­ment. Jamie Rodriquez ten­dered his res­ig­na­tion after serv­ing for almost 20 years as an Arch­bold Police Offi­cer. WATER ISSUES FACING HICKSVILLE

Fire and water were dis­cussed at the Hicksville Vil­lage Coun­cil meet­ing Mon­day. Coun­cil mem­bers got an update on the vil­lage flood­ing sit­u­a­tion. CCNO POPULATION DOWN

CCNO’s pop­u­la­tion was slightly down. That news high­lighted Wednesday’s meet­ing of the Cor­rec­tions Com­mis­sion of North­west Ohio. CCNO Exec­u­tive Direc­tor Jim Den­nis said Wednesday’s inmate pop­u­la­tion stood at 570 or 89 per­cent.
