Cedar Point’s Mantis Retires

At Cedar Point yes­ter­day roller coaster fans bade a fond farewell to the Man­tis, which closed for good at the end of the day after 18 years of deliv­er­ing thrills as one of the tallest, fastest and steep­est stand-up roller coast­ers in the world. This week they start dis­man­tling the cars on the Man­tis and turn­ing the ride into a floor­less coaster to be called Rougarou.
