The City of Bryan is going to revisit whether to allow golf carts to drive within corporation limits at its April 15th meeting. Mayor Carrie Schlade informed council Monday night that the administration is working on legislation that would propose allowing golf carts to be driven on city roads. And according to the Bryan Times “I know several months ago the golf cart conversation was reinvigorated within the community,” Schlade said. “So we have been working internally and also with people on a potential golf cart ordinance.” She added the legislation likely would include inspections of the vehicles through the police department and license tags.
