Montpelier softball field getting a press box.

The Montpelier softball field is getting a press box. The Montpelier Park Board approved the project during its recent meeting. Brandon Shoup, one of the softball commissioners, brought two quotes for different aspects of the project, totaling over $21,000. In an article by the Bryan Times one quote came from Tri-County Block and Brick, out of Swanton, for around $5,500, he said. That will include just the block, mortar and some masonry work. The other quote, from Montpelier’s Peltcs Lumber, after a donation from them, is $16,130.That cost doesn’t include a steel post for the overhang or concrete work.
