The recent hot weather takes its toll on every­one. The elderly and the young, along with those in poor health gen­er­ally are most at risk from the exces­sive heat.
With that in mind, North­west State Com­mu­nity Col­lege has announced that it is open to the pub­lic as a “cool­ing cen­ter.“
The cam­pus is open Mon-Thurs. 8am-8pm and Fri. 8am-4pm.
There is no charge and all are wel­come to come in from the heat and get some air con­di­tioned relief.
