Bryan City Schools passes a measure to pay for school resource officers beginning in the upcoming school year. Officials say the city set to see the same item voted on Monday. The plan calls for the district to fund the salaries of two school officers while the city will fund one. The city-funded position would be posted internally at the Bryan Police Department. The move comes after a year in which Bryan City Schools received multiple threats to its students and staff.
