The Williams County Health Department reports there were 87 new cases of covid between Aug. 17 and Aug. 24…and one new hospitalization. Officials expect both those numbers to increase…due to the delta variant, which has become the dominant strain of the virus found in Ohio. Williams County had 455 cases per 100,000 population…with a case count of 167. Statewide, the per capita average is 338.
